About the Chef

Amaranth's chef, Lisa Cutler, has worked in the culinary field for over 10 years. She has cooked in high-end restaurants and bistros in San Francisco and Sonoma County. She has also worked for some of the City's major catering companies, as well as slung hash in a diner, made kosher meals in an elegant assisted living facility, thrown pizzas, and prepared food in the world's smallest Whole Foods Market. In addition, she has worked with the champion Italian National Cooking Team and has won a chili-cooking contest.

Lisa is a graduate of the Cordon Bleu program at the California Culinary Academy and the Culinary Business Academy. She is a member of the United States Personal Chef Association and has been certified in food service safety and sanitation. She is fully licensed and insured.
